pickI don't know how such an emotional and sad story could be so full of hope and end on a positive note. There were a lot of heartbreaking moments throughout the story, and I really felt for the characters as they struggled through things. Yet, it was still a cute romance, and a great retelling of The Nutcracker.
My first #HolidayRead of the season was a retelling of the nutcracker. I mean it would have been rude to choose anything else right?!
I have been reading this one on my phone when I haven‘t been able to read my physical current read.
It wasn‘t what I expected, and sadder than I anticipated, but it was quite a sweet read overall :)
