I just listened to a minute video book talk.

Baloney and Friends was written by Greg Pizzoli. I think that this book is super adorable. I love the illustrations and the book overall.

I really like how short the stories are.

This graphics festers numerous different stories about baloney and friends and their different days together. Published in 2021 it is filled with humor and a great quick ready for new readers.

How perfect life must be for all of that to happen. And here we are— right now— in this moment— under this tree in the shade of all the leaves it grew.

I really liked this book as it focused on friendship and expressing emotions. It uses pretty simple language and phrases. I feel like there was some repetition as well. With pretty relatable scenarios!

“Baloney and friends, together till the end”

Story about a group of friends who hang out and try and write theme songs! Super cute read. The text is color coded based on the character that is speaking.

This book was published in 2021. It is multiple comic books put into one big book. I thought it was cute and simple. The illustrations were okay.

“Under this tree, in the shade of all the leaves it grew”

This has multiple stories in the book which is displayed in a table of contents. It is also uses color to represent each characters.

The book is good for 2nd and 3rd graders. It is a easy read.

Did I “accidentally” read this at my desk while I was converting the catalogue records and queuing the new spine labels for a bunch of junior fiction that‘s moving into the new junior graphic novel collection? Yes, yes I did and I have absolutely no regrets.
