This regency romance was an homage to the Taming of the Shrew was fun, romantic and respectful. Bianca, in an attempt to save her sister from an unwanted marriage and to keep her beloved pottery factory in the family she begrudgingly marries Max. (Cont ⬇️) #romantsy
I devoured this book in one day. It features some of my favorite tropes, enemies to lovers and marriage of convenience, plus a cast of incredible women and a swoon-worthy hero.
I never thought I‘d find the making of pottery and pottery glaze interesting, but the way Caroline Linden writes about it had me eagerly turning the page. She‘s fast becoming one of my auto-buy authors.

Back to my ARCs today. Starting Caroline Linden's next book. 🙂🐕
Enjoyed this first in the Desperately Seeking Duke series from one of my favorite historical romance authors. Max is a down-on-his-luck rogue who gets a second chance for redemption through a possible inheritance from a dukedom. Bianca is a headstrong young woman who works as a glazer at her father‘s high-end pottery works. Max sees a business opportunity as well as a perfect wife in Bianca‘s older sister. Bianca sees a gold-digging scoundrel 🔻
