As always Beverly Jenkins delivers an enjoyable romance with interesting historical knowledge.❤️❤️❤️❤️ looking forward to the next book in this series
Jude Deveraux is your classic historical romance author that is synonymous with the genre so the reissue of this time traveling title from the late 80's appealed to me. Sadly, this does not hold up. Instead of a strong female protagonist with a masculine name Dougless, we're treated to a whiny main character and a long winded plot line of a knight and ingenue.. In addition, the ending is terrible and convoluted. Hard pass on this one!
A sweet and surprisingly heartfelt regency romance.
I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it.

This was a good end to the original 8 books. It had the same/similar formula/plot line as the others. I kind of liked the climactic finally gets the person they love moment. I really wish though that she would have stopped with the compromising position trope and/or the ruined woman trope and yes it feels like a trope. I know that it would have happened in that era, it just got predictable.
Over all it was good. Nice palette cleanser read.
A great old school historical romance. Combine a whip smart ingenue, a jaded and grumpy possible pirate, vintage books, and a mystery to keep you guessing and you‘ve got Reckless. This was a lot of fun!
Started the last of the original Bridgerton series yesterday. I do so love the sassy of the Bridgertons.
This is the youngest son‘s love story, Gregory. So far good. It‘s a nice palette cleanser read for me.
I'm more likely to DNF a book and then find I love it on the second (or even third) try, but this one I loved for the first half and then hated for the second. Something had turned around when I next tried it -- ten years after the first read -- and discovered it now completely worked for me and is a 5 star read.
