I really like Grace Burrowes‘s work. The romance between Sophie and Vim was super sweet. I loved watching them bond over Kit and I absolutely loved watching both the Windham brothers, Vim‘s Aunt and Uncle, and even the Duke of Moreland plotting to bring our couple together. Some shenanigans, a fair bit of heat, and plenty of laughs. I do love romance novels that make me laugh. I just wish there was an epilogue that was a little more epilogue-y.

Dragon One of my all time favourites from this author 💚🐉 1y

I‘m not Christmas, but this romance makes me long for cold weather. 🎄❄️

I‘ve started reading Christmas #romantsy novels early this year. I almost read this one in a day but I have to work this afternoon so I had to get some sleep. Finished this morning and enjoyed the meet cute so much. Handsome traveler, Vim comes to the aid of a crying baby, held in the inept arms of the beautiful Sophie. A lovely HEA holiday confection

This was the holiday story I didn‘t know I was looking seeking. I became engrossed. I couldn‘t turn it off. Most of the 10 hours was a pleasure to listen to, even though I am not fond the of last few pages. So expected. It was odd when it started because it was a very british man reading this thoroughly typical bodice ripper but as the story progressed, it fit. It was like the narrator of A Christmas Carol telling me to warm my heart.

inthegreensandblues You had me at male British narrator. 😄 I just found it on Scribd and put it in queue! 6y
LibrarianRyan @inthegreensandblues I just started the series from the beginning (you don‘t have to read them in order) and I‘m enjoying it too. I know I had read a Burrows or two but it‘s been a while. I hope you enjoy. 6y

I am so invested in this holiday audiobook that I almost missed my movie. Thank god I set an alarm. It was odd at first because this romance novel is being read by a very British gentleman. It was odd at first but it works.

And now- Mortal Engines. I have refrained from re reading the boom so it was t fresh in my head. So I think I‘m ready.

GingerAntics Good luck!!! 6y

Decided to participate. I have hours of book sorting to do at work so I might as well listen to a book rather than Christmas music. Plus lots of picture book galleys to get read.

Hooray! First one in the series to have no contrived plot. Loved it. Have decided that romance novels are one of the ways I'm going to stay sane for the first 100 days of this hellish administration...I mean education and action first, of course. Calling my reps and protesting every fascist move, but then for sanity, romance novels.
