Wow! Amazing novel! It started out a bit slow but honestly you needed that. I loved Georgie & her passion to prove herself as a budding young journalist amongst her mostly male peers. She was naive which in a foreign country on the brink of war made quite the interesting tale. I could hardly put the book down from the 50% mark. I loved how the ending wrapped up, one of the best endings I‘ve read this year!

SassyBookworm @marleed I‘m lucky my new job thinks about not only the patients but the staff so they called off clinic for today! It was nice not to feel pressured to come into work. I definitely agree with that statement it‘s not worth risking your car or your life! 3y

Happy New Year!!!!🎆🎈 Book #140 and last of 2020. I enjoyed this one from the perspective of reporters in Berlin, prior to WWII. Strong female protagonist. Thank you #Netgalley for the ARC.
