Non bookish post - We stopped for the night at my cousin‘s farm on the way home from vacation. They have sheep and these are a couple of pelts. Oh, how much they make me want to curl up under them with a cuppa and a book! And my cousin‘s writing a children‘s book about the farm. #sheeple #sheepoflitsy

JanuarieTimewalker13 And....you just reminded me of the book The Trouble with Goats and Sheep...which I must read soon-hah! Guess it was bookish after all! jhod I love sheep! It was in the news this week that scientists have discovered sheep can recognise different people's faces - if you Google it, the videos are so cute! 6y

I can't remember which of the English booktubers I got the rec from, but I think Lauren and Simon get a lot from Mercedes, so prob Mercedes...I like all three, Simon and Lauren crack me up, and Mercedes is super thorough. I've found myself influenced more by the Brits than anyone. I must have been a Loyalist....lol🇬🇧 6y

Well since the 3yo had a hysterical screaming fit at 11:30pm (for no good reason? Apparently her night light "isn't bright enough"?), naturally I'm awake already. ? I was about to start a book, but today is my husband's birthday. So I should probably be a good wife and sneak out for his favorite breakfast burrito...

IamIamIam Ugh, I feel you! My 5 year old freaks if she falls asleep on the couch and we try to put her to bed. "I'M NOT TIRED, I WASN'T SLEEPING, YOU'RE A LIAR!" Lol...go the F*%# to sleep, kid!! 7y

Reviewsbylola That's the worst! My almost 3 year old does this occasionally and it's maddening. She seems to do it when she is over tired. 7y

I got like an hour of sleep before my husband's alarm woke me up and I couldn't fall back asleep. *sigh*. Parker is still sleeping. She seems to have slept well once she finally slept again at least. She was groaning in her sleep at first but then stopped. I think her ear infection didn't clear up. Seeing the doc this week for sure. #nosleep #anxiety #blah
