A brilliant read!!! Definitely worth a read. Did take awhile to get into it. And was a little disappointed in the ending.

This is about all my brain can handle Monday through Friday - my mac ‘n cheese reads. And that‘s OK. If I‘m reading something that is not related to work or news, I‘ll call that a win. I‘m very much looking forward to this series coming to Britbox on Sunday. #SeriesRead2021
Really enjoying the second book in the Roy Grace series. Sadly, I‘m having a hard time to get hold of these books, but most definitely not giving up!
The descriptive writing that Peter James uses prints images in your mind (not always the nicest images to see!) but it gives the book added depth and makes it stand out from other books. This book does refer back too the last book (luckily I read that one first!) but it does also recap so if you haven‘t read the first book you can catch up with the characters and what the situations are.
Looking forward to reading these (I assume) great books! ❤️
This is book 2 in the Roy Grace series , I am enjoying getting to know this detective. His fascination with the occult and mediums, the ongoing mystery of how /why his beloved wife Sandy disappeared.Just a trigger warning on this one , the crimes are pretty transgressive.I enjoyed the book a lot and what , he‘s up to Book 14? I think. Lots of good reading ahead.
The second in the Roy Grace and equally as good as the first. Excellent characters. A difficult, maybe even taboo, subject matter and a fast paced story. Highly recommended
I love the Roy Grace series so far - very clever and with a very likeable main character. Something so unusual as a middle-aged (well, he's 39 now) male policeman who isn't misogynistic and homophobic but actively the opposite. Nice work from Peter James!
