#12BooksOf2022 @Andrew65

February's top book was Most Eligible Billionaire. This is a slight cheat, as I started in February but finished in March. I just didn't love the others I read. A cute white dog inherits a role with a large company after it's owner dies and the dogsitter winds up the human proxy. Cute and funny, I would recommend this as a light, fluffy option to the #52Books 2023 challenge prompt about including an inheritance.

Andrew65 Looks a fun read. 2y

Holy crap! A review in the same week I finished the book?! 😲
When elderly Bernandette Locke dies, Vicky goes from being a dog-walker with an Etsy store to having the ownership shares in a billion dollar company when Smuckers is left to her care in Bernadette‘s will. Sure, it‘s the adorable maltese who technically owns the shares, but Bernadette also insisted that Vicky was a Dog Whisperer, and thus she becomes the mouthpiece for Smuckers ⬇️

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick in the business world. Bernadette‘s estranged son Henry and the other employees at Locke Worldwide are convinced Bernadette was out of her mind and that Vicky is nothing more than a scheming grifter, out to take over the company.
This was a fun rom-com bringing both the laughs and the heat. Besides, just picturing an adorable maltese running the show and hearing the name Smuckers would make me giggle. This enemies-to-lovers romance had ⬇️

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick good pacing and a rather believable set of circumstances, besides Smuckers as the CEO. Told from dual POVs (Vicky & Henry, no deep thoughts of Smuckers here, sadly) both narrators were good. There was one point post-sexy time where there was a little misunderstanding/mishap that literally made me crack up when I realized what happened.

TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!! This one sounds fun. Sad that you don't get Smuckers's POV though 😂 3y

A dog inherits a billion dollar company. Scam? Or an unusual path to love? This gem had several laugh-out-loud moments.

I love this book! I just wish there are more scenes of Smuckers doing company boss stuff. Had so much fun imagining him in the office. 🥰

Annika Martin can write in any romance genre. This rom-com is fantastic. There are laugh out loud scenes. It is erotic. It is moving.

MarriedtoMrT Just one-clicked! Thanks for the rec. 7y
