This is the third or fourth time I‘ve listened to this version. I love this narration by Dan Stevens. He really conveys the anguish of the creature, who didn‘t ask to be made. In 2025, it is hard not to think of AI and other technology that‘s been created without a lot of thought on whether or not it SHOULD have been created.

OriginalCyn620 I just listened to this again too…couldn‘t agree more! 3mo
CSeydel I adore Dan Stevens 😍 3mo
MallenNC @CSeydel I like him as an actor but I LOVE him as a narrator. He does such a good job. 3mo

MallenNC @OriginalCyn620 It made me even more sad this time 3mo
OriginalCyn620 @MallenNC Same. It always makes me sad but it hit a little harder this time. 3mo
CSeydel @MallenNC His reading of Murder on the Orient Express was transcendent. I have checked out books to listen to just because he‘s the reader. (edited) 3mo

Did this mini cross stitch yesterday while #audiolistening. I think he‘s so cute! 🖤

For #litsycrafters, he fits with last month‘s prompt!

One of my literary pet peeves is when someone refers to the creature as Frankenstein. That is incorrect! So this month‘s theme was the perfect excuse to do this cross stitch.
