I really wanted to like this book, because it sounds like a really interesting story, but the story never seemed to go anywhere. I got almost halfway through, but then gave up when I realized that the reason I wasn't enjoying it was that there was more written about the detectives than there was information about the case they were trying to solve.

I finished the 6th Peculiar Crimes Unit book and I am not disappointed! I love Bryant, May, Longbright, and all the team of the PCU. A good mystery, some oddities, and London. I love jumping back into this world. I will have to get Bryant and May On the Loose soon! Although I don‘t think it‘s completely necessary to read these in order. The books may reference back to past cases but not enough to make you feel left out.

Craftylikefox @RadicalReader I enjoy Knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery and, cross stitch. I‘m self taught so I don‘t know how good I am, but I enjoy them š 6y

My latest and last book haul for a while. This was the last of my Amazon gift card. I have a Barnes and Nobles gift card but I like to shop in the store and it's an hour and a half from me... So that will probably be late February or March. Just about ready to send off my #muglove box. As soon as it is all wrapped up, I will share a photo of that! So excited and nervous since it's my first swap.
