Saturday afternoon on the back deck.
1.) The Crimson Petal and the White by Michel Faber (Halfway) & Dark Advent by Brian Hodge (Halfway) - Not reading two books at once again ever! 😂
2.) The Border by Robert McCammon 🔖- I recommend this one, it was superb!! 💫
3.) Having a lot of Halloween fun with the family, telling spooky tales in the dark with candles burning, carving pumpkins, the autumn colours and tasty hot beverages. 🎃☕

Oh my god, what a phenomenal read this is!
I've never read a bad book by McCammon, he's one of my favourite authors; more people need to be reading his books!
If you're into science fiction/alien invasion stories, you need to get this book and read it!
Loved the characters and I cared for all of them, I'd say this is the best character driven book he's written!
Can't recommend this author enough, he's such a damn fine writer!
Top-Rated 💫
1.) Current Read - The Border by Robert McCammon
2.) Longest Book Read This Year - Probably 'Five Great Novels' by Philip K. Dick ⭐⭐⭐⭐
3.) Last Book You Stayed Up Too Late Reading - Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not read either yet on my kindle.
I‘m sorry, @Cinfhen and @vivastory but I‘m gonna have to hijack the hashtag for another song because growing up in a small town near Texas, If Tomorrow Never Comes by Garth Brooks comes up every time when you think of a song about #Tomorrow. #MusicalNewYear Also, I love this book.
I loved this book and how it starts off with action. I did feel like he kinda took Two of his previous books Stinger and Swan Song and just combined them but considering I loved both of those books I had no problem with the similarities. Also I did tear up and thought the ending could have been a bit better but all in all I loved it
#getmovin #human We start off this book following a boy named Ethan as he wakes up in the middle of a war between 2 alien races, the Gorgons and the Cyphers, taking place over Earth. 3 years into the war there‘s hardly any humans left. What we‘re about to find out is that Ethan has special powers that can change everything. Maybe it sounds cheesy but McCammon, one of my favorite authors, writes characters you care about to make it all worth it.
#rocktober #TimesLikeThese we just gotta keep doing the best we can. And, I love Robert McCammon because no matter how dark his novels get, there‘s always a little light at the end of his books.
