As a huge fan of Truman Capote, I really loved the first Tru & Nelle story, which is based on the lives of childhood best friends Truman Capote and Harper Lee. This Christmas story takes place a few years after the first, when they‘re 12-13 years old and Truman has run away from military school to his family in Alabama. A good glimpse of the depression and racism in the 1930s, I would highly recommend this to fans of Truman and Harper Lee. 4⭐️
