Nora Roberts Bridal Quartet Set
Nora Roberts Bridal Quartet Set | Nora Roberts
1 post | 1 read
Give a special someone a signed limited edition boxed set of the #1 New York Times bestselling Bridal Quartet this holiday season! Four childhood friends have teamed up to form Vows, one of Connecticut's premier wedding planning companies. Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac have become experts at making every bride's dreams come true. But when they're faced with the whims of their own hearts, things never go as planned... Vision in White: With bridal magazine covers to her credit, Mackensie "Mac" Elliot is ready to capture the happy moments she never experienced while growing up. Her father replaced his first family with a second, and now her mother, moving on to yet another man, begs Mac for attention and money. Mac's foundation is jostled again when she bumps into the bride- to-be's brother...an encounter that has them both seeing stars. Bed of Roses: Since she was a little girl, Emma Grant has always loved romance. So it's really no surprise that she has found her calling as a wedding florist. And on the surface, Emma's love life seems to be thriving. Though men swarm around her, she still hasn't found Mr. Right. Jack Cooke's been best friends with Parker's brother for years, which makes him practically family. But the architect has begun to admit to himself that his feelings for Emma have developed into much more than friendship. Savor the Moment: Laurel McBane believes in romance-in theory. But she's too low-key to appreciate all the luxuries that other women seem to long for. What she does appreciate is a strong, intelligent man, a man just like Parker's older brother, Delaney Brown, on whom Laurel has had a mega crush since childhood. When Laurel's quick-silver moods get the better of her-leading to a mind-blowing kiss with Del-she'll have to quiet the doubts in her mind to turn a moment of passion into forever... Happy Ever After: No man has rattled Parker Brown in a long time, but the motorcycle-riding, raven-haired mechanic Malcolm Kavanaugh seems to have a knack for it. His passionate kisses always catch her off guard, much like her growing feelings for him. Parker's business risks have always paid off, but now she'll have to take the chance of a lifetime with her heart...

Littens,
I‘m looking for a book to gift my mom for Christmas and who better to ask than you?
She likes to read:
📖 Nora Roberts
📖 Sandra Brown
📖 Clive Cussler
📖 Diana Gabaldon
📖 Erin Morgenstern
Books with a little mystery, a little romance, sometimes a little fantasy or magical realism thrown in. Historical fiction is also good.

Preferably a series or author with a long backlist.
I‘m thinking a cozy mystery might be a good option?

rubyslippersreads Mary Stewart? Vintage, but popular romantic suspense and lots of titles. (edited) 11mo
wanderinglynn If she hasn‘t already read it, Nora Robert‘s has a detective series set in the 2060s New York written under the pen name J.D. Robb. She‘s up to like 60+ titles in that series. https://jdrobb.com/book-list-2/ 11mo
MeganAnn @rubyslippersreads I was going to get her a Mary Stewart to try and then I found out she read several back in the day and thought they were just fine. 🤷‍♀️ 11mo

MeganAnn @wanderinglynn yep she‘s read that too. Basically everything Roberts has written under either name my mom has devoured. But she keeps telling me she wants to find a new author she can read like Roberts. 11mo
MeganAnn She also really likes Susanna Kearsley. Alice Hoffman is hit or miss for her. I‘ve tried Sarah Addison Allen which she said was okay, but not a favorite. 11mo
Gissy Elizabeth George has a series Inspector Linley. Nicci French has a series where the protagonist is a psychiatrist; Tana French or Jane Harper that first book in Aaron Falk trilogy is fantastic. 11mo
Librarybelle Has she tried Jayne Ann Krentz? She‘s got a bunch of romantic suspense, with a touch of magical realism/fantasy elements in some of her books. She also writes under Amanda Quick and Jayne Castle. 11mo
Bookzombie A historical mystery series that might work is the Lady Darby series. There are 11 so far. There is a romance that grows through the books. 11mo
Ddzmini Sharon Sala, Danah McCall, Joann Ross, RaeAnne Thayne good authors with great books 📚 11mo
MeganAnn @Bookzombie that series actually looks perfect for her! Thank you! 11mo
MeganAnn @Gissy those look like some good options. Thank you! 11mo
MeganAnn @Librarybelle I think I remember seeing some Krentz or Castle books on her shelf, but she never talked about them with me or passed them along so I have no idea what she thought. 🤷‍♀️ I might have to bring them up with her as potential options. 11mo
MeganAnn @Ddzmini these look like some good possibilities as well. Thank you! 11mo
