Pickpick

This NF book will be a fun and creative add to preschool and kindergarten classrooms. A counting book that uses Cheerios as a manipulative, readers can follow along and maybe even use their own Cheerios to count! This book would do well in a SR setting- the Victorian Department of Education and Training explain the importance of shared reading, and how it can be implemented in the classroom

Betrinag https://www.education.vic.gov.au/school/teachers/teachingresources/discipline/en... UDL principle 2.3 and EL strategy 4 will both help students make text to world connections by tapping into prior knowledge and connecting it to the story. #ucflae3414sp21 (edited) 4y
PatriciaS The cover makes me hungry for Cheerios LoL 😆 and I am sure will attract young readers, looks fun and your presentation is cute too. Great resources too adding to my list. 4y
Betrinag @PatriciaS thank you! The cover definitely catches the eye, and the stomach 😂 4y
DrSpalding Your cover image shows that this is a well loved book. Your posts include all the required elements! There are many books like this that focuses on food and mathematics skills! This series of books is just right for hands on manipulative lessons using food! While this is not recommended all the time, they are very fun activities that certainly do motivate and engage students. 4y

This guy just swiped his cereal into the floor and shouted “Oh no! All the Cheerios!” How‘s your day going?

In other news I have not had a chance to read much in the past few days.
