Welcome to Litsy!

This is the second part of the tagged book. I'm quite glad for the summary in the back, since it's been a couple of years since volume one was published.

It's a soft pick, mostly because I might not be the targeted audience anymore. For me, it was all a bit too flat and I wasn't emotionally involved with the characters.

It was still a good read and I'm glad that the author was able to finish her story.

I wouldn't have read this book, if it wasn't for my dear friend @fabienne.luethi - Dang! I would've missed something great! At first I thought it's just another YA novel where the main characters keep a pain in the neck of each other (and me), but nope. Brinkmann develops her characters, draws the picture of a fascinating city (Balde Runner style) and tells us a story with known tropes, but all used in a new and fresh way. I loved it so much ⬇

Now I want to clear the board, but his month I'm not sure if I'll make it, since Night Lords is such a chunkster, and I'm listening to it as audio book. The rest won't be a problem at least 😊
