I am drowning in nostalgia over here 😂 I was ADDICTED to SWH as a kid, and this particular book always stuck with me. So, I took advantage of Kindle Unlimited and just flew through this one. Still hits me right in the feels 😢😭

CBee @JenlovesJT47 you feel me? 😂😁 4y
JenlovesJT47 Yes!! Poor Regina! It always made me terrified to try cocaine and apparently Francine Pascal had many fans tell her the same, so I always thought that was pretty cool. I‘ve only got about 25 books or so left until I‘m done with my first complete read-through of the entire SVH series! 😱🤓 4y
CBee @JenlovesJT47 absolutely the same for me! Never tried it, and I feel like this book may have had something to do with that. That‘s SO awesome you‘re doing a reread of the entire series 😁😁😁 4y

This is one of the penultimate Sweet Valley books that has stuck with me and plenty of others over the years. Sweet, beautiful Regina Morrow succumbs to peer pressure and overdoses on cocaine, when she has a bad reaction with an undiagnosed heart murmur. Sure, it's a little far fetched but this is Sweet Valley. I've read in multiple places where this book had such an impact on people that they never tried drugs because of it. Kudos to Ms. Pascal.

Rachbb3 I loved these books! 8y
JenlovesJT47 @Rachbb3 me too! I'm trying to collect the whole series 🙃 8y
