I quite enjoyed this short historical romance set in Gilded Age New York at Christmas time. I liked learning the bits about creating window displays for a department store. I could have done without the misunderstanding between the main couple. Still, it was a pleasant holiday read and introduced me to a new author.

Shupe comes highly recommended by Sarah MacLean, and while I‘ve never been interested in Gilded Age New York, I‘m glad I picked up this short holiday novella. The setting was new and fresh for me and I loved Grace and Sarah. Shupe almost lost me with some of the hero‘s behavior, but overall, I enjoyed the story and will seek out Shupe‘s full-length novels.

Flaneurette The screen on your Kobo looks really good! I have a Forma and an oasis already but I am sooo tempted by the new kobos. Is this the Libra or Sage? 2y
DGRachel @Flaneurette It‘s the Libra 2. I wanted one that was waterproof, but I didn‘t need one that did audiobooks. 2y
