I'm not a fan of rhyming books, but the kids love them. I am a fan of books that feature POC and differing abilities as well as women in untraditional roles. If the artwork reminds you of historic WPA murals, the illustrator has achieved their purpose. #everybodybooks #weneeddiversebooks

mandarchy My students LOVED the roller coaster page. I left it on the screen for inspiration. We compared shoes and considered the person who first drew them as an idea, then the team that found the materials and put them together. Did they use thread or glue? 2y

This book shows children what it takes to make dreams come true, from the architects or scientists that have big ideas, to the skilled craftsmen who bring the ideas to life. The illustrator based the illustrative designs on the 1930s WPA project murals in the US, and I think you can tell.

Nice picture book that allows kids to dream big and how those dreams can come into fruition. #PictureBook #BBRC Letter S
