Here‘s my eclectic haul from one of a few library and other book sales happening over the next several weeks. I‘m trying to restrain myself, because I also want to buy The Testaments. But these backlist books all intrigue me for different reasons. $5.25 for these plus three more I‘m giving as gifts.

T is for Tabitha, Stephen King‘s wife & partner, & a writer in her own right.

I can‘t speak to all her published works. But I‘ve read these. The Trap was a fair suspense story. One on One, though... it‘s one of my favorite coming-of-age/teen love stories ever. Tabitha captures the tenderness of young love, along with the loneliness so many of us experience as we navigate this time of growth. I strongly recommend seeking it out.

GarthRanzz The only one of her novels that I recall reading was Small World and I enjoyed it. She‘s an author I do need to read more of though. 6y

RohitSawant Great post! Hoping to check out her work soon. I was conflicted between going with either Tabitha or Trashcan Man for T! I wound up picking the later mainly because of the Bernie Wrightson illustration. 😍 6y

For #funfridayphoto, I'm going back to a book I read 20+ years ago. The sports connection is basketball. But the lure of this novel is the love story between these two mis-matched teens. Tabitha King takes well-worn territory and breathes new life into it, making this one of the BEST young love stories I've ever read. This book has moved with me from NY to NOLA to the PNW. I won't let it go. Read this book! 📚
