Bad Girl Reputation: An Avalon Bay Novel | Elle Kennedy
10 posts | 10 read | 4 to read
Bestselling author Elle Kennedy returns to Avalon Bay in this sexy second chance story about two exes who can't stay away from each other, Bad Girl Reputation. When former bad girl Genevieve West returns home for her mothers funeral, shes prepared to keep her distance from her ex-boyfriend, Evan Hartley. Their history is rife with turbulence. And passion. A heck of a lot of passion...which shes trying desperately to forget. But its impossible not to run into Evan in the small coastal town where they once ran wild. And the moment she sees her gorgeous ex again, its clear to Gen that Evan is still as unruly, sexy, and irresistible as ever. This time around, however, shes resolved to walk a new path. No more partying. No more foolish mistakes. Her plan is to temporarily remain in town to help her father run his business, but the second he finds somebody else, shes out of there. Evan has other ideas. He knows they can be good together, but he just has to convince Genevieve of that, even if it means turning over a new leaf himself. But can a bad reputation ever truly be shed? Do second chances really work? Genevieve and Evan are about to find out.

This one was okay. Nothing spectacular. Just a second chance romance in a small town. I don‘t like how when someone is trying to be sober, they are forcing her and constantly questioning her decision to no longer drink. Just let her be. You can have fun without alcohol and drugs.

Low pick. Super spicy.

Book 2: This is part of a series which has similar characters but can be read as a stand-alone. In book 1, we met Cooper and Mackenzie and this novel focuses on Cooper‘s twin brother, Evan Hartley. Genevieve West returns to Avalon Bay after her mother dies. She had a reputation as a wild child growing and wants to prove that she is no longer that same careless teen. If only she could avoid Evan Hartley!

Took a little break from the Bailey brothers to squeeze in this book before the library took it back. I'm honestly not sure why people seem to be hating on this series in reviews I've seen. In my opinion, if you're a fan of Elle Kennedy's in general this will tug on the heartstrings. Y'all already know I have a thing for bad boys. But when said bad boy gets a second chance with the bad GIRL who got away? 🔥

Only 7 books left on my list! I have a busy Saturday, so I doubt I‘ll get through all of them, but I‘m still happy with my progress. 💙 #Loveathon #FabulousFebruary

StayCurious Wow! I wish I wasn‘t such a slow reader 😔 2y
Clwojick @StayCurious We all read at different speeds, I‘m just lucky to currently have nothing else to take up my brain space, and free time. You‘re nice and busy with your little one. 💗 2y

Gen was the bad girl that everyone in town knows. There is a lot of drama, but you're constantly rooting for Gen to prove to everyone that she is a good person.

This was a fantastic love story that I highly suggest to all, especially those are a fan of Elle Kennedy!

While I was more interested than I was in the first book I still wasn‘t in love. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was I captivated and rushing through? Absolutely. Did I also feel horrible about loving the drama of an absolutely toxic relationship? Yes. Writing and the characters are great, but also super toxic, as is the whole relationship. Glad they were figured themselves out, but couldn't get behind him not hearing her requests to not do something stupid and thinking how quickly this could escalate to something horrible and dangerous in real life.

I liked this better than Good Girl Complex.
