9 Months: A Month by Month Guide to Pregnancy for the Family to Share | Courtney Adamo, Esther Van Paal
17 posts | 7 read
Can you believe that every one of us started as a tiny egg in our mummy's belly? One tiny cell, not bigger than a speck of dust, will grow into a baby in just nine months time. In this book, we follow this amazing process called pregnancy, and see the miracle of a creation of a new life. This fun and informative way to prepare your child for the arrival of their new baby brother or sister is written by two of today's most popular mum bloggers in the English language world, and co-founders of Babyccino: Courtney Adamo and Esther Van de Paal. Their writing is accompanied by beautiful illustrations from Lizzy Stewart, the winner of the 2017 Waterstones Children's Book Prize, Illustrated Books Category.

Even though the egg is no bigger than a speck of dust, it still contains all of the information that makes a new person different for anyone else.

Could be a good book to use to introduce a child to the idea of a new baby in their life

I like how it has so much details about each month and picture that show the size of the baby during that stage.

I enjoyed this kid friendly book about pregnancy. I think that it was a read that parents could be able to use as a resource for leaning about babies.

I have this clothes, funny and I feel like human mothers feel this way too, even though it‘s not actually true.

I love us buckets, many different scenarios, and things that could be happening with the mother to give the child explanation about why they‘re feeling this way. I also enjoy the did you know sections and how big the baby is at the moment.

It‘s a preparation, book to get a a child, ready to become an older sibling and explain to them what is happening in their mothers, body step-by-step.

I think this was a really informative book for a family that is expecting a child, especially if its their first child. It includes a lot of helpful and comforting tips on taking care of a newborn and things to do while the baby is starting to grow inside of the mom's stomach

I do not see myself using this in my classroom unless there is a child that is really struggling with a new sibling coming along, otherwise, this book would be one that I would recommend to parents or use on my own.

This book is a visual and descriptive way to explain pregnancy to children. This book walks through each month and talks both about baby and mother in kid friendly language.
