Shelter: A Love Letter to Trees | 
panThe author reports that she wrote 3 failed novels. If a novel is a book, then having finished this one, I say she can now clock 4. The entire book, as each of the three novels was, is about trees and how everything in life is either birthed, mediated, or made meaningful by trees. In fairness, she‘s won mutliple poetry awards. I generally don‘t get poets - apparently even when they masquerade as essayists. So, maybe don‘t listen to me on this one.
