Do Your Worst was my favorite read of the month but nothing will beat Ruthless Vow right now!

Who knew this book would be my favorite read of the month! It‘s the only book I gave 5 stars to!

This rom-com set in a ancient Scottish castle between a curse breaker trying to make a name for herself and an archaeologist trying to get his career back on track, at odds with each other, is a fun listen on audiobook (thank you to Libro.fm for the free copy!). I‘m not sure how much I‘ll remember, but it was a much-needed easy listening experience.
Just as fun, entertaining, & ridiculous as you might hope & expect when you put a curse breaker (trying to make a name for herself) in a cursed castle in Scotland with a disgraced archaeologist (trying to rehabilitate his reputation). Sparks fly, misunderstandings abound, long heated looks ensue. This is another great read for a plane trip, vacation or afternoon/evening when you just want to curl up with something silly & fun.
This year our Thanksgiving meal is being provided by three of our favorite restaurants in town—a bit of a cheat, true, but one which leaves us a little more time for visiting…and reading. Going with something light & fun—who can resist a curse breaker & an archaeologist in Scotland?!?—since I anticipate lots of interruptions. I‘ve seen mixed reviews for this one so I don‘t really know what to expect.
I hope everyone has a fun & relaxing day!🦃📖
