That doesnt necessarily make her popular with the other ladies, but a bit of jealousy might be the least of her problems. A mysterious warehouse fire, an official with a very bad case of food poisoning, and the mysterious last will and testament of a deceased craftsman all demand her attentionbut are these cases really separate, or do they share a troubling connection? Then theres the mysterious military man who continually visits Jinshi. Hes strange, maybe even a little twisted... and he seems very interested in Maomao.

I started The Apothecary Diaries last week, and I'm currently on vol. 2... LOVE IT. These are a few others I nabbed from the library as well. Will probably spend a good chunk of my day tomorrow reading them.
A not pictured shout out to, SHADOWS HOUSE by Somato because that started getting Really good in volume 4, and I'm also watching the anime.. however, I'm reading the series illegally on the internet, so shhhhhhh 🤫

This light novel is a little different from the manga version. Get a little more character storyline. Either way light novel or manga this series is fun. The FMC is sassy, smart and very clever. And quite rhe mystery solver to boot. This was my March #bookspin book read. @TheAromaofBooks

Uh oh someone is targeting the consorts of the emperor and one lady in waiting is the taster and detective who can sense poison. Really good storyline and I really enjoy the characters.
