?"Can you help, Wanda?"?
This is the first out of three of my comic panel redraws. Obviously, they will all have spoiler filters because they are actual panels in the comic.
?"I wouldn't lend you an eraser, let alone power over reality."?
I thought this could technically count as a spoiler, so I put a spoiler filter.
?"I have no powers and not nearly enough training, but I'm doing this anyways. Being a superhero is amazing. Everybody should try it."?
I drew around half of the Young Avengers the day before I got the comics, and the four I drew were all my favourite characters in the end.

It‘s like, are you even a superhero if you don‘t show up in a power pose like a quippy deus ex machina?
This was a fun volume with major potential but the overall plot was iffy at best and the shoehorning in of the backstory context was not subtle. The characters are off to a great start though! I was already a fan of Kate Bishop and now I want to read everything America Chavez is ever in 💥
I didn't know what to expect with this but I thought it was pretty good. The story and art were good, plus a lot of the young avengers are bi or gay, which isn't as common in comics!
So fun! Am already fond of all our heroes, but especially America Chavez 😍!
I've never actually read a comic book written by Kieron Gillen. But before I had even heard his unusual name, I was singing it whenever I sang "Ziggy Stardust" -- whose lyrics I still don't really know:
"Ziggy played guitar, blahblahblah/ with Kieron Gillen and the Spiders from Mars!"
Oh! I thought. His parents must have named him after the guy in the David Bowie song! Nope -- he just happens to have the same name as my personal misheard lyric.
This is a really great run. It's fun, interesting and well contained. I love the diversity of characters and how I t's full of funny and touching moments.
