A sparkling and steamy Sapphic romance, Fly with Me by Andie Burke is filled with sharp banter and that sweet, swooping feeling of finding "the one" when and where you least expect it. A one-way ticket to love or a bumpy ride ahead? Flying-phobic ER nurse Olive Murphy is still gripping the armrest from her first-ever take-off when the pilot announces an in-flight medical emergency. Olive leaps into action and saves a life, but ends up getting stuck in the airport hours away from the marathon she's running in honor of her brother. A moving, romantic, & steamy romance between two women who believe they aren't good enough for the other. They meet on a plane: Stella is the co-pilot, Olive is a nurse afraid of flying who saves the life of a passenger in an emergency. Cue: a mutually beneficial fake relationship that is never actually fake! Some heavy issues: Olive's brother is on life support & her family has ostracized her, Stella's dad has advanced Parkinson's. I loved this!

This romance is a bit different from what I expected but I really like it! There is some really thoughtful inclusion of stuff like anxiety, an aging/disabled parent, death of a sibling, grief, and family estrangement. Despite this it doesn't feel heavy to read and is somehow also cute and funny? #Romantsy #QueerBooks

Cute rom-com about a female pilot and the woman who saved a man‘s life on her flight. They meet, connect, disconnect, and eventually rediscover a love for each other on the ground as well as the sky. Clever and witty!

This romance makes for a fast and fun read! Olive, an ER nurse with a fear of flying, goes viral on her first-ever flight to Disney World & winds up meeting the co-pilot, Stella. With an instant connection & plenty of fun banter, the pair end up in one of my favorite romance-tropes: fake-dating. Stella hopes to use the publicity to finally gain a promotion while Olive hopes that with a little time, there will be nothing fake about their feelings!

A very solid debut romance! I wish we had gotten a Stella POV, because I think that would have made the chemistry even more believable for me, but Olive was a realistic and enjoyable POV character, so it worked. And you can never go wrong with fake dating! #contemporaryromance
