Leave No Trace: A National Parks Thriller | 
I sat for nearly 30 minutes critiquing this book instead of enjoying the read. When I realized what I was doing, I had enough. 100+ pages in and I'm done. DNF
Just didn't buy the 2 main characters and honestly, it really came across as a couple of guys writing a thriller, paint by number style. Just doesn't work and I've bailed.

I finished two books last week-I flew through the Sandford novel.
Starting the Landau book today (or tomorrow as I have a short lunch today). This weekend will be “Western Settings“ which is a poetry book set in the American West.
pickThis is a fast paced action thriller that has imagined domestic terrorists continuing the Jan 6 MAGA fight on a much larger scale. While some of the action was a little over the top it was incredibly fun to read (the rattlesnake scene comes to mind). The two main characters (Michael and Gina) are likable and have interesting backgrounds and the National Park settings had me adding to my travel bucket list. I await the next in the series. 4.5/5
