I have mixed feelings about this book. First off, must love soccer. (I do!) Second, it‘s too long. A pair of half brothers venture to discover the next big talent in soccer: a young boy named Godwin. The problem is, they don‘t know where he is. Very nice writing but I was disinterested in the office politics section, though it does come together in the end.
Chelsea.Poole @BarbaraBB you asked about this one — I wouldn‘t rush out to get it, especially since it didn‘t make the shortlist. It was tedious for me at several points. The soccer references made up for it some. 1w

TheKidUpstairs I was really looking forward to this one! I've almost bought it a few times, but decided to wait until it was a paperback. I definitely still want to try it, but maybe I'll switch that to a library borrow :) 1w
