When I moved from the table to the Adirondack slider, my friend visited the feeder. #porchlife #hummingbirds

This morning‘s visit. #mylittlefriend #hummingbird

psalva Very cool! And such a pretty cup/saucer. I‘ve only seen one hummingbird this year, but I don‘t have a feeder or the right plants, unfortunately, so it makes sense. 4mo
kspenmoll @psalva This little one visits the feeder daily. I have spied one in the front of my house feeding in the red bee balm. A friend of mine has seen some in her garden hut only bees have swarmed her feeder!!!! 4mo
IndoorDame I love that you have a little hummingbird friend! My grandpa‘s hobby was hummingbird photography, so I always saw some at his house. I wish I still had some of his prints, they were stunning. 4mo
janeycanuck We had our very first hummingbird in our yard the other day. It was too fast for me to get a picture! 4mo

This mornings 30 minutes of birdsong, captured by the Merlin Bird ID app.
A House Sparrow has a nest on top of the wreath on my yellow porch door. I do not dare stand on a stool & look for fear of disturbing her/nest.This book is small but full of information. It was a gift from my Alaskan avid birding brother & sister-in-law. #porchlife #birdsong #nesting
