Sometimes Monday‘s can be truly lovely, (especially when it‘s a part of a three day weekend). I have an afternoon appointment, but the rest of the day, is full of possibilities. I have a few short stories by Katherine Anne Porter to read for my book club next week, this is my first foray, but I‘ve heard so many amazing things about her writing. Have you heard of her? Any favourites from the collection?

I just realized I forgot to take a picture of my birthday #bookhaul from the library sale earlier this wkend! They always have such interesting things and I have a soft spot for the 1950s mass market paperbacks. My mother's stack was twice as many so I get my book obsession honest! 😍🎂📚🎁
