Devin's a sweet Himbo, Alex is a cynical loner--but they're both wounded and lonely. I'm not sure the paranormal plotline mixed well with the realism overall, but it's an appealing story. I even liked the sex scenes! 🤯
pickLow pick. This one was a bit too long. It was a lot of fun though. There was a hit v show on the TW about a werewolf cop solving crimes. Devin is all of a sudden showing the same symptoms as his character. He finds Alex‘s website from years ago and goes to Florida for help. It‘s a romance, but it‘s also about both of them figuring out what they want.
It‘s been a bad, week, month, year. And it‘s been too long since I went to the bookstore. So, I decided to treat myself this weekend to some newly released books.

pickFinished this one and yeah, I loved it! My favorite sort of werewolf narrative (where figuring it out is a big part of it), with a more thoughtful take on fandom than I was expecting, and two leads I loved. The emotional stakes/situation at the end was pretty perfect. Awoooooo
I am currently listening to this audiobook, because it turns out hoopla has it and I can't just take a day off to read the book like I want, but what that means is I cannot check if, indeed, Devin describes himself as taking a "big, slutty inhale" - dirtbag puppy indeed!
