I loved this just as I loved the gone-too-soon Somebody Somewhere: very, very much. Like the show, this was hilarious, frank, sweet, sharp, and heartwarming. The perfectly performed audiobook (again, like the show) had me laughing out loud frequently and tearing up, too. I'm sure he's a long shot, but I SO wish Hiller would win the Emmy for which he's nominated. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
For those of you that love this book and/or his show, Somebody Somewhere… A Facebook group member posted this cameo she got from him for her birthday: https://www.cameo.com/recipient/686c4ececf5f4cd74d2da243
Just a lovely person!
Though I love memoirs, I don't usually read ones written by actors/actresses. I listened to this book because I loved the show Somebody Somewhere so much. Jeff Hiller is as funny as his character Joel! Delightful listen!
#Two4Tuesay Tgank you for the tag @TheSpineView
1. Tagged! An ARC memoir by Jeff Hiller I enjoyed. I realized I had a lot of 3 ⭐️ / middle of the road reads for May when I looked back.
2. Never Flinch by Stephen King came out today and my preorder audio is waiting for me. I won‘t get to it until June. I always look forward to a new King book!!

If you liked Somebody Somewhere (I absolutely did) Mr. Hiller really is Joel. I could hear him giggle as I read his funny stories. So very likable but also, it wasn‘t easy for him to get here. Such a decent human. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!
