Great book! Quick read and better than the first one.

RamsFan1963 I agree. I thought the first book was kind of flat, but this one was much better. After all, elves always make things better. 4y

I like this one much better than the first book, more action and adventure, more like a classic quest story. At first I didn't like the elf prince Elbereth, because he seems like a character designed to put a wedge between Cadderly and Danica. The battles in Shilmista forest was fun and exciting. 4 💥💥💥💥 1/2

Another wonderful entry in the Cleric Chronicles shows Cadderly dealing with the fallout of Canticle. I actually enjoyed this one more than the first book of the series, partially because the majority of the cast isn't disabled for a large portion of the book like Canticle. Looking forward to Night Masks.
