It seems I‘ve miscounted… or, rather, started counting from the wrong day. So, my favourite November read, for Day 11 of #12Booksof2022, was this comic thriller from Caimh McDonnell

Absolutely loved this one! Paul Mulchrone is a bit of a waster who, due to mistaken identify finds himself on the run from Irish gangsters and trying to solve a 30-year old crime. As well as being a good thriller, there‘s lots of great Irish humour and wit. Highly recommended.
One of my selection for the #NovelNovember #Readathon.

Really enjoyed this dark comedy / crime novel, some very well thought out characters. Will definitely look to continue this series!
This book is absolutely hilarious. I'm honestly not sure which one of the lot is the funniest, but Paul's deadpan reaction to everything and his sarcasm alone is worth the read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I found myself laughing out loud at this book . The story was really well plotted and written as well. I'll no doubt look out for more of his books.
Loved this, if you like a bit of Irish droll humour plus crime you might enjoy it. Caimh (pronounced queem) is a comedy writer, this is his first novel and, I believe, is better than Evanovich. You mustn't however, object to some ripe Irish phraseology.
