Set 6 months after the last book, it's a big jump, but I found it to work well. The action and fast pace was continued, however I wasn't sure how I felt about a change of characters, and the complete U-turn of love interests, on the other hand I prefer Boden over Lazlo, so I was okay with it. The storyline was a bit basic as they were just surviving, but it was written well and had a few unexpected scenes. Overall a good ending to a good duology.
