4 stars ⭐️ I don‘t usually like YA but this was so enjoyable. I was sucked into the 1920s plot. It leaves you wanting to learn more- it just gives you a small taste of the Tulsa race riots. That was lacking, but for a quick YA read it was great. The audiobook rocked. #ATYin52books #aroundtheyearin52books

🥱3.5 stars “A book connected to something you read in 2023” This mystery of Flavia‘s lost me halfway. Not the best. Still thrilled to continue to # 5 #iloveFlaviadeLuce #ATYin52 #AroundtheYearin52books

I love Backman. I was skeptical early on in the book but his writing never fails to win my heart by the end. Britt-Marie was indeed here. #ATY #aroundtheyearin52books

I read this for the ATY challenge prompt #8 2 books relating to the same topic. I only rated it 3 stars. It took me forever to get through but I found once I got halfway I got more into it. #aty2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

I couldn‘t put this book down. It was like her It Ends With Us book. It Ends With Us was a little better but not by too much. So far I like the subject matters that she writes about. This only my second book of hers that I‘ve read. I read for the ATY prompt 50-a book that includes a journey. #ATY2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

I thought this was pretty good. There were some creepy parts in it and it was fun to wonder what happened to the prior teams that went into Area X. I read it for the ATY challenge prompt #1-a book that was nominated for an award of my choice. #ATY2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

I loved how this book was told from the child‘s perspective. It made the horror of the Holocaust that much more horrible. #aty2019 #aroundtheyearin52books I read this for the weird or intriguing title prompt.

Crazeedi I want to read but don't know if and when my heart can take 6y
bibliobard I did the audio version of this and has the ending starts to unfold I remember yelling in my car. 6y
Joanster5 I don‘t think I cried. It was more of an outraged feeling. The way the author shows the world through Bruno‘s eyes was well done. 6y

I thought this was a fun thriller. I read it all in one day. I couldn‘t put it down. It was Hitchcock like. My gut twisted in suspense at a couple of parts. I may have jumped once while reading it. I did guess a part of it but I think you were supposed to at that point. I read for aty prompt 41 goodreads choice awards. #ATY2019 #aroundtheyearin52books

This book wasn‘t as good as I thought it‘d be. I thought there were too many characters and it skipped around a lot. The main characters I liked though. I ended up rating it three stars. It was a good book and nice to read something different. It just won‘t end up being one of my favorites. Read it for prompt #30 a book featuring an elderly character. #ATY2019 #aroundtheyearin52books
