I chose the above two books for my April #BOTM selections. I am excited about both of these. Has anyone read these yet? What did you choose?

Slow build, big ending! Some mixed feelings about it but it did pack a punch. Listen to the audio if you like Australian accents 😂 #BOTM

A bit delayed— this sad story of sisters, addiction, murder & grief was my actual last read of March. This #BOTM has been on my shelves for a while & I‘m glad my husband “made” me read it (he wanted to watch the show, but I couldn‘t without reading this first!). The characters, flaws & all, really come to life against the bleak Kensington setting. Though a hefty novel, I read it quickly, appreciating the plot‘s turns! Curious to watch the show!

I wasn't into any of the main picks for #botm for April, so I skipped even though I really want to get my hands on Gifted & Talented by Olivie Blake. Fingers crossed for some good picks in May!!!

CoffeeK8 Same, nothing was really piquing my interest. 1d
NataliePatalie I also skipped! Time to catch up on other things 😌 9h

Oh nooooo. I can‘t keep up with my acquiring!😩 (not really mad 😎)

Ok top left is #BOTM incl (free) book about … falling in love w a plane? Not in the sci-fi way?…

Bottom right is #aardvark. Couldn‘t pass up the special ed, of course, of one my fave books by one of my fave authors & the 2nd in that series.

Also, tagged is excellent 2nd in series 4⭐️
And piper‘s diary, linked to Santa Fe‘s Meow Wolf exhibit - cool & am going back next wk! 4⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

It‘s a special concoction when a book can make you both laugh and tear up. This reminded me of the movie “Date Night”, and also, weirdly, of the Mercy Watson children‘s book series? (Something about the tone - although that‘s probably just a “me” thing since my daughter and I are currently on a kick with those books! 😂) ⬇️

ICantImReading If you‘re in a reading slump, this madcap adventure is sure to hit the spot - with poignant thoughts on marriage, parenting, and life as the unexpected cherry on top. #BOTM 3d
