pickThe movie definitely embellishes the parts between them out on the mountain and when Jack dies. It was really good, though. I see why people were interested in turning it into a movie. Just like the movie, this is literary art. It‘s sparse and clipped, much like Ennis and Jack themselves. It actually feels a bit like the movie, a lot happens, but not a lot is said (dialogue wise), but the message is clear. Highly recommend.
