so-soExpected this book to be a little more dynamic but it was rather dry. Yes - there were some learning points on capital allocation but after the second essay I sort of got the point.
I am also perhaps a little jaded about the capitalist world we live in and that the way these CEOs mainly returned shareholder value was via share buybacks.
I meant to read more of ZORRO next, but my dad and I went to the airport yesterday to see my cousin off, and there was a problem with her accessibility accommodations, and I ended up having quite a bit of solo downtime while he accompanied her through security. I didn‘t have my print book with me, so I poked at the ones on my phone and settled on MR HOTSHOT CEO. It‘s exactly the sort of delightful read I need in this time of rage and grief.
pickI liked that it wasn't an easy fix, love cures all HEA. Depression is a hard, difficult state and both Courtney and Julian are taking it seriously. The week-end trip to foodie Montreal was interesting, since it's next door for me.
