After not getting to read at all yesterday because of shopping, house project and our basement flooding ?? it's very nice to sit back and read on this gorgeous "spring" day(92 F today?) with the windows open and fan on ?

jfalkens @Samplergal 20 gallons of water and it was right over where we store extra food, medicines, soaps, etc and where my husband's new corded drill, palm sander, hamouck and tool bag he got for Christmas. Luckily it looks like the tools will be ok and the food and soap in containers is ok and we were able to save most of the medicine. Paper products, bar soap and some feminine products were lost 😔 6y

There's no room next to our bed for end tables but we have a tv stand(with no tv) that has lotion, jewelry box, cat bank, cat nightlight, kleenex, a turtle candle, my husband's slippers and stores the extra cat food. Our dresser has the hand wash pile, an alarm clock and the cat's food bowl, so Pickle can't free feed. 6y

jfalkens @lauren.lerner amazing!! It's hard to chose a favorite from the first six but this one has been just as fantastic. Robert Jordan was truly gifted at writing! Even tho I haven't finished the series yet I can already tell it will be a favorite that I'll reread lots 🤓 7y
