An excellent guide to the curious, wonderful, confusing, exciting, anxiety inducing world of being an empath. This book helped explain so much, helps you to assess your level of empath tendencies, & gives good basic guidelines and tools on how to deal with that. There is no one size fits all book. This book may be the perfect fit for you, or it may just have a few good useful tools.

I definitely didn‘t need a lesson on what it‘s like to be an introvert (I‘m pretty much a subject-matter expert). But I do wish I could casually pass this along to everyone I know so that someone would understand me.

Yesterday I listened to someone I‘ve worked closely with for 8 years have an hour long conversation with someone who‘s been around for about 8 weeks. That I‘ve never had that kind of convo with them hurts more than I can explain.

Texreader I‘m so so sorry. I‘m a bit of an extrovert but I‘ve certainly have had this happen. And it does hurt. That hurt is real. 5mo
AlaMich I‘m a fellow introvert and I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes I think I missed a few classes where they explained how to be social. 5mo

My kind of (old school?🤨) quiet. I new book & good🎶❤️‍🔥🤓📚

Power‘s been restored as of a few mins ago, although I fully expect another & am charging devices now while I can.

My niece (aka my sidekick & neighbour) & I got my generator semi-ready last might so 1/2 that job is done if it‘s needed. Let‘s hope not though.

Andrew65 Best of luck 🤞 8mo

This book was so good. It really goes deep into how to evangelize even out of your comfort zone. It really shows that no matter what your personality is, whether you are an introvert or an extrovert, that evangelism is something everyone can do. I would highly recommend this to anyone who feels like they should be doing more for God but don't know how. 😀

Nice book about the power of introversion, quiet, sitting with yourself and pondering, in a world where being an outspoken extrovert is recognized and rewarded.

Sadly… I‘ve tried this twice now, and I should be into it… but I‘m just not…. No idea why. Maybe I‘ll try again sometime in the future.

TiredLibrarian I loved this one, but I couldn't get into her second book at all. 11mo
KathyWheeler I loved this book but haven‘t read anything else by her. 11mo
Graywacke I thrashed it in a review years ago. ☺️😁 As a fellow introvert, i feel a little guilty about that, but i have some issues with the book. 11mo

Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Graywacke I might have to go look that up… maybe it can put into words what I‘m having trouble vocalizing. But from her beginning example of Rosa Parks and her quietness winning the day…which admittedly was the story we all learned in grade school, but now know isn‘t exactly correct, there was much more to that story….to the Tony Robbins conference, which felt more about the manipulative selling practices… I‘m just not feeling there‘s a lot on⤵️ 11mo
Riveted_Reader_Melissa ↪️ actual introvert strengths and the benefits of introverted-ness yet. 🤷‍♀️ (edited) 11mo
batsy I didn't like it much, either. It had the weird gloss of a self-help book without much depth. 11mo
Graywacke @Riveted_Reader_Melissa here is a link to my 2015 review. ☺️ Litsy links don‘t like hashtags. Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Graywacke that was a good review. Knowing it didn‘t get better, makes me feel even better about my bailing. 11mo

wildwoodreads Yesss. I‘m a introverted soul and for some reason I decided to work a customer service job. 12mo
Eggs @wildwoodreads Well i can totally see that - for me, it‘s much more pleasant dealing with 1 or 2 people at a time. I‘m sure you‘re very good at it👏🏻👏🏻 12mo
