I was transported away with this little middle grade graphic novel. I read it in just a little over an hour. It touches on a lot of great topics but centers around family and honoring the dead through Dia de Los Muertos. I cried.
I love the fictional town it takes place in. The author said it‘s based on Half Moon Bay in Northern California @Leftcoastzen 💙

I love reading this graphic novel this time of year. It‘s atmospheric and touching. I was really tired last night and figured I‘d just read a few pages, but ended up reading the whole thing. Good thing it‘s a quick read!
