⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My fiancée gave this manga to me after he finished reading it and I‘m so glad he recommended it. The story and characters are funny, endearing, and even a bit heartwarming. I‘m really enjoying Iruma‘s journey and I will absolutely be picking up the second volume of this series!

Friday night: a new book from @AmyG to read together, fresh tulips that my husband brought home, a gin&tonic made by husband, salt & vinegar chips ( best kind) and I think the snow has finally gone for good

AlaMich “Gone for good”? Girl, you are just asking for a blizzard! 😉 2d
MaGoose That sounds like a great evening 👍🧡 2d
mcctrish @AlaMich 🤣🤣🤣 I still have my snow tires on, I haven‘t completely lost it 2d

Cuilin Sounds lovely, enjoy. We‘re getting up to 5” of snow today. I‘m so done. 2d
MaGoose @AlaMich Yup, probably. 😁😆 The calendar says it's spring here in New Jersey, too. But we're getting overcast, raw, rain-filled 🌧 days since March 21st. We had warmer weather in February! 🙄 2d
AlaMich @MaGoose I live in Chicago so I get it. That‘s why I don‘t put away my down coat til May! 😂 2d
mcctrish @MaGoose @Cuilin I am afraid to look at weather projections. It was such a long, cold winter I wanted an early nice spring ( at least the days are longer) 2d
Aims42 What a perfect and tasty looking Friday night!! Salt & vinegar chips are my favorite too!! (edited) 2d
mcctrish @AlaMich I put away my biggest puffy coat but yard duty might have me yanking it out again #teacherlife 2d
AmyG Lovely! 🙌🏻❤️ 2d
mcctrish I feel bad @AmyG you are cooking up a storm and I‘m just lazing about 2d
Prairiegirl_reading I‘m so curious about that book!! 2d
mcctrish @Prairiegirl_reading so far it‘s giving cozy mystery vibes 2d
Mollyanna I live in Wisconsin and a friend just ran the gas out of his snow blower. I‘m expecting 8 inches of snow any day now. 😊. And total agreement… salt and vinegar chips are the best! 2d
mcctrish Oh @Mollyanna I hope that snow does not materialize 2d

This is a fun and surprising book, and I enjoyed the narrator as well.
What starts as a cozy library murder mystery quickly becomes a tale of demons, justice, and rude cats.
I love how the author made her story so many different levels, and the characters were very interesting.
4/5 read if you like cozy mysteries, Buffy, and/or books that take literary troupe in a whole different way than expected.

iread2much @MemoirsForMe the cat is pretty funny in this one 😸😼 3d

Amazing! Audio narrator helped keep a big list of characters separate. Witches, ghosts, ghouls, cannibals, all set in late 19th century Kansas. A quest worth joining! Plus a love story and humorous twists. High recommend.

RavenclawOwlCat I loved this one! 2w

The traditional magic British boarding school like you‘ve never seen it before—through the eyes of the highly competent, over-worked Director of Magic who has to keep a centuries-old campus and its reckless students safe from the demons her own power runs off. I loved seeing one of my all-time favorite tropes turned on its head, with a badass bisexual magician at the helm! Highly recommended for fans of the Scholomance trilogy & Magic for Liars.

Interesting concept, really like the beginning but the story felt rushed (despite being almost 400 pages) and nothing felt fully fleshed out. The relationships felt shallow that we are supposed to be connected to and the ending felt forced. Really enjoyed learning about other folktales though and I always enjoy a story where death is a main character.
