My favorite of the series. All the elements come together in a terrific space opera. Great characters, twists and turns, complex plot, and of course terrific world building.

pickI listened to the audiobook and it was FANTASTIC. I‘m really annoyed actually as my library has book 4 on audio but not book 3, and these books are whoppers so require a certain amount of commitment to read on paper. Loved the new characters that were introduced here and the way the plot from book 1 continues but also morphs into more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Back in January I started the 5th installment in #TheExpanse series and found this. (I'm reading book 6 now).
I‘m enjoying this series a lot, but the constant references to this character‘s size (once she was described as having a “massive head”) are irritating and a bit sexist. The author doesn‘t do this with any other character, but he makes this woman sound like she‘s 7 ft tall and built like a linebacker.
Man, this irritates me! These are all I have of the series so far, so I don‘t know what the rest look like.

Just as compelling as the first time I read it. I did find the differences between the TV version and the book interesting. The changes made sense, especially Drummer for Bull. Great series, great book.
pickA reread of book 2 in the Expanse, one of my favourite sci-fi series. I love this installment for its unlikely friendships: Amos/Prax and Bobbie/Avasarala. The TV adaptation of this novel is even better!
