This is the progress I made in this book the night before Christmas Eve. I‘m not reading any of this book tonight. I‘m tired. I need to go to bed so I can get up in the morning. My mom‘s boyfriend, my brother and sister in law are coming over to open presents and eat lunch. My mom and her boyfriend will be making Picadillo (a Mexican soup we eat for lunch on Christmas Day every year).

I‘ve decided to get back to reading this because it‘s been on my currently reading shelf on Goodreads for too long. I‘m reading this book for the #realmofelderlings readalong. I need to make more progress in this book. I don‘t have anything else I want to read right now. Will I be finished with this book before Christmas? I don‘t know.
This was an exciting second book. Poor Fitz is just wrenched every which way. I mean, he‘s not the person I feel worst for in this book, not by a long shot, but still!
This is one of my audiobook stats from #spotifywrapped. Hopefully, I can finish reading the next book in 2026 like I did with this book. I‘ve started the next book but I need to continue with it because I‘m participating in the #realmofelderlings readalong.
Chin rubs are crucial. Reading can wait.
