pickA great listen or a page turner…Jesse Stone is invited to a reunion that doesn‘t feel right so he jumps @ the chance to return home for a bizarre murder & possible kidnapping. Something keeps tugging at him and he‘s wondering if & how all these strange events in his small town are connected.
He felt sorry that she was hurt, but it was an abstract sorry, more of an idea than a feeling. You need to be able to hear the truth, he thought. You can't hear the truth, you got nowhere to start.
