BethM I didn't know he wrote fantasy. 6y
Linear @BethM he wrote this for his daughter, I believe. This is my all time favorite book! It is the book that got me passionate about reading. This was my first! And will always be my favorite. I dont care for Steven king books, but this one is.... 6y
BethM @Linear so worth a shot? I'm not a SK fan. 6y

Linear @BethM it is a book written in the tone if a storyteller. I read it the summer before 3rd grade because my mom use to make me copy from it to practice my handwriting. She would ask me what it was about and I would make something up. Never really reading it. That summer I got curious. It has shaped how I wanted to be as a mother, and brought my love of books to life. There where times 8/9 year old me would throw it down.. 6y
Linear @BethM with the hope it would stop what was happening and save Peter. I got super into it. So yes, yes you should 6y
BethM @Linear what a great story and a lovely way to practice handwriting! Practicing used to make me cry- I wish my mom had done that! 6y
Linear @BethM sasha and her lesson about a napkin, that was my " I want to be like her as a mom " moment. Seriously, read this! 6y
