panI should have listened to everyone and read #TheBlinds instead of #LiesSheTold. I picked this one cause it was shorter and thought I could just knock it out. The writing was terrible. It seemed the author couldn't decide on the story so she wrote 2 and embedded one in the other. I figured out "the twist" in chapter 2. So disappointed. However, #Shadow enjoyed me sitting down to finish it! ??

Jess7 This is on my #TBR - I have heard mixed reviews, but I was excited to read it. Have you read The Couple Next Door? In my opinion, the writing in that wasn't very good, but I was able to get past that and enjoy the book - even though I didn't particularly think the ending was believable? MinDea @Jess7 I did read The Couple Next Door. That was a quick read and kept me interested. imo Lies She Told is worse than The Couple Next Door. I really wouldn't recommend it. 7y
