I have always been thinking of the different ways in which Christianity is taught, and whenever I find one way that makes it a wider blessing than any other, I cling to that as the truest—I mean that which takes in the most good of all kinds, and brings in the most people as sharers in it. I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway back in December and had been waiting and waiting for it to come. It'd been 2 months so I basically gave up on getting it. Well lo and behold, it showed up yesterday and the company sent me an extra copy to apologize for the delay. I won't read it until April as I'm still in the throes of #MiddlemarchMarch but I'm looking forward to it!

I loveeee my edition of Middlemarch. I bought it specifically to participate in #Middlemarchmarch and I'm glad I did. I'm way behind though--I didn't start this until the 11th so I'm only on chapter 18. I think the readalong is on like chapter 34?? I'm enjoying George Eliot's snarkiness about the alleged weakness of women. But did I mention how pretty this book is???? 😜
